I love this time of year!

I love all the holiday decor around our house! With everything so festive, it makes me want to bake and spend time with my family.

Been Crocheting Again

I picked up crocheting again. MiniMe wanted a blanket for her baby. I just love these little cone flowers!

Little Car Quilt

I've FINALLY started cutting the fabric for MiniB's car quilt. I'm going for a hexagon star pattern. Let's hope that I can squeeze in some time to work on this project. Lately I've felt so busy and our house is going to go on the market so I'm going have to keep my house clean...GASP!

A New Start

Happy New Year! I can't believe it's twenty ten. Or is it more appropriate to say two thousand and ten?

I've had it on my list to post this fabric for a while now. It is for a quilt for my boy--some Japanese prints. I am deciding between two patterns. I can't wait to cut into this fabric but first we have been doing so many little house projects--trying to get our house ready to sell. More on that in future posts. I'm a bit tired of it all.

On another project front, hop on over to my PhotoMojo blog where you can see my newest endeavor. I'll be participating in the 365 project--taking a photo a day.

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Ours was wonderful. I'm so sad when the lights and tree come down. Enjoy the remainder of the holiday!

Finished Pillow

I posted images of my embroidered elves as they were in progress. I considered framing them but then changed my mind and made them into a pillow instead. I love the way they came out!

Elves

Most recently Brian was in Japan for 10 days (on another post I'll tell you all about the fabric he brought back. I have the best husband ever!). The evenings are BORING without him around so I would embroider to pass the time. Aren't these two little elves adorable? The elves are Jenny B's inspiration. So cute!

I've got big plans for these two. Stay tuned!

Project Raqua, part II

Yesterday I showed you some of the scrap fabric that I'd gathered for Project Red Aqua, or Project Raqua as I call it. Here is unveiling of my first installment of Project Aqua:

Can you figure it out? No? How about another angle for you...

No, I suppose that isn't helpful since I showed you a bunch of fabric scraps and now I'm showing you buttons. Ok, here is another one for you with fabric.

Ok, the real unveiling:

My homage to raqua and buttons. I love them both. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Project Raqua

I love red and aqua--together. Rockwa, Raqua, Rockua, whatever you call it, I love it. Stay tuned to see what I'm creating here.
