Iis Thursday and that means time for My Favorite Things Thursdays! I hope you'll join this linky party. Link up and post your favorite recipe, fashion tip, outfit, product, makeup item, accessory, phone app, song, decorating tip, anything really! I'm going to give away a Rosie Rosy bracelet from my shop to a random linker so LINK UP!

Silly Happy Sweet

You should also check out Danielle's Current Crush link up.

This week I wanted to share my favorite camera fashion bag, my Epiphanie bag. Your jaw is going to drop when I tell you I won this bag! I won it a few years ago when Maile launched her purse collection. Seriously, how cool is that? I think it is the only thing I ever won and the thing I've wanted to win the most.

This beautiful bag is the Teal Belle Epiphanie bag. The leather is really, really soft and looks as pretty as it feels. I love that you can wear the single, long strap or go with the double straps.

The interior is sooo roomy. I've removed some of the panels but basically you can leave them in if you want to secure your different lenses. Or you can use it as a purse/camera bag. It is large enough that it makes a fabulous travel bag. You can see that I always have wet wipes on hand. I also have my notepad I carry in case I come across any crafty inspiration (I have a terrible memory and have to write everything down!). I can't say enough wonderful things about my Epiphanie bag.

Do you own a camera bag?

SLR Fashion Bag!

This is a picture of my new fashion camera bag/purse! Isn't it AWESOME? I actually won this gorgeous bag. I have never wanted to win anything more and I was amazed when Maile let me know I'd won. Go check out her site and purchase one for yourself. How many times have you wished you could carry your SLR camera in a cute bag? Look no further! Maile's bags are way worth the money.

Here is a picture of the inside. Obviously I needed my camera to take a picture of the bag so you can't see how my camera fits perfectly inside. There are spaces for your lenses too.

Finished Purse

Every year, my church has an annual auction to raise money for a local organization. And every year I have donated a handmade felted purse. This year I decided to go the fabric route. I think it came out pretty cute!

Pattern is from this month's Quilts and More magazine. Handles are from Kati Cupcake.

Inspiration

Whew! It's been crazy around here. I've not had much time for creativity but rather than not blog, I thought I'd post some links to projects that I plan to start someday. First, the Boxy Pouch. I saw this on the Sew Mama Sew blog recently.

Little Boxy Pouch was created by Three Bears. I think it is the perfect project to use up some of your leftover fabric. I have some cute Japanese fabric picked out--just need to find some time.

My second inspirational link is Blurb. Have you heard of Blurb fellow bloggers? You can use Blurb to "slurp" your blog contents into a book. A pretty book too--coffee table pretty. I've been playing with a template and flowing content from my old blog. It's crazy the things you'd forget if you didn't write them. I am so glad that I keep a blog if not just for all the memories and pictures I've posted about! I have an idea that I'll also use Blurb to make a book for my second-born. I know it is pretty normal that the second child doesn't have a baby book. I just can't seem to find the time to go back and scrapbook a book for him. I've decided that I'd make life easier and use the digital images and the bits and pieces I've written in his journal to just Blurb a book. It is almost cheating but I can see by looking at the featured books, others have done it too!

Finished Taxi Tote

I finished the Taxi Tote from Anna Maria Horner's Seams to Me book. I purchased the fabric in New York from Purl Soho. MiniMe loves this purse. It is too big for her now but I'll put it away for her for a later time. Please go out and get Anna Maria's book--it is a must have!
